New Year’s Eve 2010. Our oldest world holiday celebration. It was first observed in ancient Babylon about 4000 years ago. In the years around 2000 BC, the Babylonian New Year began with the first New Moon (actually the first visible crescent) after the Vernal Equinox (first day of spring). In this day and time none of that contains relevance for the majority, but I thought Snobs would like to know be reminded.
My OUTFIT is a simple look at the power of noir. Black being the combination of all colors brings represents all of the combined days of 2009 that changed my life (for the better). My peak lapel, two button suit stems from Jimmy Choo’s H&M collection. The peak lapel and workable buttons bring a number of possibilities for altering my look throughout the celebratory evening and night. The navy and red silk knit tie brings a classic pop to an otherwise (perceived) somber ensemble. The tie clip is for pure Mad Men effect. My boots are by Jimmy Choo’s H&M collection. The leather bad boys had taps placed on them to protect the sole fro the possibility of damage from me running through the streets and jumping up and down indoors.
Lastly, my fragrance is Fahrenheit by Christian Dior. A stimulating and masculine scent made for the end of fall and winter months. A city like New York is an exceptional place to catch women off guard with heart racing smells. Whether I end up at an elegant club, brownstone champagne bash, or fine restaurant I will do my due diligence to remember everything that happens for the recap.
