A New Year’s eve ensemble should make a statement. Your fit may speak a different language, “this is the new me! It could also speak a familiar one, “I really don’t give a damn what you think”. When I bring in the New Year, it will be in a snob’s vernacular, “yeah….I did it again…impeccable…and will do so in twenty ten”. It’s not hard to be the focal point of the room. In the same breath, you either got it or you don’t. I’ll share my vision to give you an opportunity to do me one better. My palate is all black. Black is formal enough for the classiest of functions and everything else in between. When the ball drops you can toast a 40 or a glass of Ace of Spades! Notice, the only color is the pocket square and a bright red at that. This will bring (just) enough attention my way for a spectator to analyze, not judge. Remember…you want the attention but don’t want to be (that) guy. So whether you are at home, clubbing or walking the red carpet don’t let your look prevent a happy ending!
