Moderate Snobbery started out as a joke between two cousins. The juxtaposition of words that they rarely uttered became the basis for a meme that many of their peers understood but dare not define. The idea was to start a quarterly journal that depicted all of the interesting things that they saw each season, but soon it became a shelved passion project. Then one day one of the cousins called the other and said, “I bought the domain name for Moderate Snobbery (.com)”, and the rest is their-story. Thus today, Moderate Snobbery is…a discerning voice of the people…a lifestyle choice…the convergence of bourgeois and bohemian…a sub-culture…a counter culture.
